Another Pastoral Epistle
April 4, 2018
Hi EBC Family,
It was Socrates that said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” As we have just passed through Holy Week it afforded us the opportunity as God’s people to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us toward living an “examined life.” This past Sunday, we celebrated the risen Christ! As we wait for the next big event, His return, we are urged to live our lives well, with meaning and purpose. A life worth living is to stop at check points for healthy self-examination.
That examination is required for other aspects of our lives as well- our priorities, our commitments, health of our family, our witness, and our ministries. I am asking for your input regarding this epistle. I need to evaluate its effectiveness. Will you help?
Here is a brief survey that will take 3 minutes of your time about the epistle. It is anonymous to assist honest feedback. Please follow this link and fill it out:
Thank you for your time and feedback! Be strong and courageous, Pastor Brian

Is it possible that good things can come out of our broken dreams? Worship leader Laura Story’s life would never be the same after her husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She helps us understand that we aren’t the only ones whose lives have taken unexpected turns. She examines the brokenness of some of the heroes of our faith and despite their flawed stories, God was able to use them in extraordinary ways! Sign up in the back of the sanctuary or by calling the church office.
