As I mentioned in last week’s epistle, I have been giving a fair amount of developmental thought to our worship ministry over the past year, considering both our values as well as our practices. I have developed a brief two-part video series to help communicate the vision I believe God has placed in the heart of our body for our ministry in worship.
Last week, I shared Part One: Our Ministry Identity. In this video I shared the mission and values that unite us in worship here at EBC. You can view part one by clicking here.
This week, I am sharing Part Two: Our Vision For Discipleship. In this video I will share our vision to create a culture of discipleship in the worship ministry. We want to see everyone who attends our Sunday morning worship service encounter Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him through worship. We also want to see God raise up worshipers who are gifted to lead worship, equipped to do it with theological soundness, and a conviction to grow in both their personal character and competency. In this video I explain the rational and strategy for this new and exciting direction.
Blessings,
Pastor Dan
