Who doesn’t love this guy? K.C. Nowack has been a bright spot in the worship ministry for the better part of a decade. Many of you have watched him grow from a shy little boy to a confident young man. God has blessed him with musical gifts that he shares with us week in and week out. Most recently, we have seen K.C. challenging and stretching himself as a worship leader. He’s been helping me plan worship services, leading songs, and even whole services. I couldn’t be more proud of him.
Next Monday morning K.C. will be boarding a plane bound for Atlanta, Georgia, where he will start the next leg of his journey with 10,000 Father’s Worship School. As many of you know, K.C. started this journey in January with his first trip down to Atlanta. Over the past eight months he has been focused on developing the godly character that is critical in being an effective worship leader. In track two, his focus will expand from character to competency. Over the next eight months he will focus on developing his musical and leadership skills.
For a more thorough overview of the worship school, please watch the following video with worship leader and founder, Aaron Keyes. Click here for video.
Please join me over the next week by coming alongside K.C. with prayerful support. As you pray for him would you also consider helping with his tuition by making a financial gift? K.C. was awarded a $1,000 scholarship for track two! With the scholarship and the deposit he put down, he is left with a balance of $1,000. He has arranged a payment plan with 10,000 Fathers, but let’s face it, he’s a poor college student who could use all the help he can get! K.C. is one of the most faithful and dedicated volunteers at EBC. Anything we give him will pale in comparison to what he has given us.
Just one more thing, building into K.C. by sending him to worship school is just one part of our overall vision to see the worship ministry become a platform for discipleship. Please take a few moments to learn more about this initiative by watching the following video, Our Vision for Discipleship. Click here for video.
Looking forward to worshiping with you this weekend,
Pastor Dan
